Complete and archive

Mark as Completed in the request header closes it. The requester gets a notification and sees the request marked Completed in their app.

Before closing, make sure the answer is in the chat, not only in Internal Notes — the requester can’t see internal notes, so a request closed with silence looks unresolved to them.

Completed requests can be archived so the board stays readable. Archived requests are counted separately under Archived in the board counters, and they remain searchable — archiving is filing, not deleting.

A requester who writes in a completed request is asked whether to reopen it. If they confirm, the request returns to In Progress and comes back onto your board.

A request that gets reopened repeatedly is usually a sign the underlying cause was never fixed. Analytics and AI Features are where those patterns show up across many requests.
